A unique quality
to the wines
The Imotski wine region, with its complex history and isolated position, has preserved local varieties in specific pockets of land. Grapes like Kujundžuša, Vranac and Trnjak from Imotski have retained their unique identity and character. Renowned international varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay have also found a home here. The soil, predominantly limestone rocks with overlays of various red soils, coupled with distinct climatic conditions, imparts a unique quality to the wines.
